چکیده
Introduction. The aim of this work was to check the average thickness dentinal wall mesio-buccal root first lower molar using CBCT axial sections intact teeth. Material and method. In cross-sectional study, 100 images mandibular molars from Promax 3Dent radiology center in Banja Luka, Bosnia Herzegovina were evaluated. A Planmeca Promax3D Max apparatus (Planmeca, Helsinki, Finland) used, with a field view (FOV) 8 ? cm resolution 0.1 mm. Analysis performed Romexis Viewer software version 3.1.1 Finland). At an mm, transverse distance 1 mm made below furcation area (at magnification ?10) at 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 furcation. data then analyzed by paired t-test. Results. significantly smaller 2 3 than when measured 4 (p < 0.05). There no significant difference between measurements = 0.001). Conclusion. Due small 2-3 canal, caution is required instrumenting canal correct selection instrumentation technique order avoid transportation or stripping perforation that may lead fracture.

Comparison of Cone Beam Computerized Tomography and Phosphor Storage Plate in Detecting Artificial Buccal Recurrent Caries
Introduction Recurrent or secondary caries develops at the margin of restorations and causes restorative failure. We conducted this study to compare the performance of Phosphor Storage Plate (PSP) and Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) scan in detecting buccal recurrent caries under amalgam and composite resin restorations. Materials and Methods Class V cavities were prepared on the buccal...
متن کاملCanal configuration in the mesio-buccal root of maxillary first molar teeth of a Jordanian population.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the canal configuration in the mesio-buccal root of maxillary first molar teeth of a Jordanian population using a clearing technique. One hundred extracted maxillary first molars were collected from Jordanian patients. After a standard access preparation, canals were stained, decalcified, dehydrated, and then rendered clear. The prevalence of a secon...
متن کاملMeasuring the thickness of buccal cortical bone of maxillary premolar teeth by cone beam computed tomography technique
Background and Aims: Immediate implant placement following tooth extraction is a treatment with many advantages. Alveolar bone preservation after immediate implant, need minimum of 2 mm thickness in buccal bone plate. The aim of this study was to evaluate the thickness of buccal cortical bone of maxillary premolars by Cone Beam Computational Tomography (CBCT) technique. Materials and Methods: ...

متن کاملMaxillary first molar with 7 root canals diagnosed using cone-beam computed tomography
Root canal anatomy is complex, and the recognition of anatomic variations could be a challenge for clinicians. This case report describes the importance of cone beam computed tomographyic (CBCT) imaging during endodontic treatment. A 23 year old woman was referred by her general dental practitioner with the chief complaint of spontaneous pain in her right posterior maxilla. From the clinical an...
